Peter Berkowitz | Peter Berkowitz is the Tad and Dianne Taube Senior Fellow at the Hoover Institution of Stanford University. He chairs the Hoover Task Force on National Security and Law and co-chairs the Hoover Task Force on the Virtues of a Free Society; serves on the Policy Advisory Board at the Ethics and Public Policy Center; served as a senior consultant to the President's Council on Bioethics; and worked as a senior foreign policy advisor to the Giuliani 2008 campaign. His scholarship focuses on the interplay of law, ethics, and politics in modern society. He is the author of Virtue and the Making of Modern Liberalism and Nietzsche: The Ethics of an Immoralist.
