Jack Healey is a world-renowned human rights activist and pioneer. An effective and innovative leader in the human rights movement for over 25 years, colleagues credit him with making human rights a major focus of governments, advocacy organizations, and individuals around the world. He continues to bring human rights to the global stage through his creative use of media, music, and enlistment of world-class talent as advocates. Today, Healey heads the Washington, D.C. based Human Rights Action Center (HRAC), where their most current project is "Burma: It Can’t Wait," an online media campaign highlighting the story of Aung San Suu Kyi and the people of Burma.
